The Blue Train Line - Cross Stitch Pattern
This design is inspired by my grandson's love of trains: The Blue Train Line in Rabbit Town!
The model was stitched on 18 ct Fiddlers cloth using 2 strands of DMC’s 6-stranded floss.
The approximate finished size is 14" wide x 6" tall.
Note: This item includes only the chart for doing your own cross-stitching. It does not include any materials (fabric/floss) for making the design.
A printed version of this chart is also available. Additional costs apply.
One of the photos in this listing is an example of simple way to finish a part of the design as a small pillow decoration. (You could do each car of the train as a separate little pillow.) It also shows how it would look if you choose to back-stitch around the rabbit figure. I'm not a big fan of back stitching, so tend to leave that out of my designs. For this sample, I back-stitched with the darkest thread, 1 strand of DMC. It is stitched on 18ct white Davos fabric with 2 strands of DMC floss. Davos is a beautiful fabric that is flexible to work with, not stiff like Aida can be.
